By default, Chrome does not allow extensions to interact with file URLs for security reasons. To enable Voice In extension to work with local files (files stored on your computer), you can manually permit the extension to do so. Here's how you can enable this feature:
- Open the Chrome browser on your computer.
- Right-click on the Voice In button and click on "Manage Extension"
- Scroll down to find the “Allow access to file URLs” toggle switch.
- Click the toggle switch to enable it. If the toggle turns blue, it means Voice In is now allowed to interact with local files.
