How to use Voice In in a popup window ?

  This does not work in either Gmail for creating an email, nor with Hangouts in ANY form. Right now, I have the extension for Hangouts turned off, and am creating messages in Gmail through the Hangouts section in the lower left of the Gmail page. The Hangout pops open as a pop-up window. Right clicking and choosing "start recording" does NOTHING in the Hangouts popup or in Gmail in any field. Your instructions above for using it with a popup should work for these, and it doesn't. Am I doing something wrong?

  I'd really like to use this with both Gmail and Hangouts. Thank you for it working in Discord, that helps. Hopefully you'll solve the Google Docs issues doing direct dictation, as using a dictation box for a word processor is really clumsy.

  UPDATE: I got it to work in Gmail by reloading the page. I don't think the Dictanote extension was running properly on that page. It works properly when writing a reply to an email and when creating an email in the Compose pop-up window. It does NOT function in a Hangouts popup window because it says the window is an IFrame. Using the link to open the IFrame as a page does not work.
